Lucy Partington-Smith, Director and founder of Eden holistic practitioners is a highly qualified Specialist Nurse and nurse prescriber in Neurology and Neurosurgery, she has worked within this area of speciality for over 13 years and has been a qualified nurse within the public sector for 18 years. In additional she has accreditation in the Principles and Practice of the menopause via the British Menopause society and has completed the confidence in the menopause course via the Louise Newson not- for- profit organisation. Lucy has extensive knowledge of advanced therapies used as potential Neurological Movement disorder treatments such as Apomorphine and Deep Brain Stimulation ( DBS). Lucy has been involved with research projects and academic papers in and around the subject of movement disorders and has held previously the presidency position of the DBSNA (deep brain stimulation nurse association) For a total of five years until deciding she needed a better work/ life balance. Lucy within the NHS field, has worked collaboratively with pharmaceutical company’s, device company’s, therapists, primary and tertiary care colleagues and patients to achieve the best possible care outcome for her patients. Alongside this Lucy is a qualified Naturopathic advisor. With a long, vested and keen interest in holistic health. Lucy is always focused on looking at the individual as a whole picture, to ensure the best advice and guidance is offered. Lucy gained her reiki master status over a decade ago and is a qualified meditation instructor.
